Description
RX RCBO residual current circuit breakers with integral overcurrent protection provide disconnection, switching and protection of electrical circuits against earth fault currents, overload and short circuit. They have a time-delayed thermal release for overload protection, an electromagnetic instantaneous release with a plunger (striker) for short-circuit protection, and an electromechanical residual current release that operates without an auxiliary power supply and automatically disconnects the circuit when the earth fault current between phase and earth exceeds the rated residual operating current IΔn.

Fault type indication
This top-quality product has exclusive features for identifying the fault that occurred in the circuit. A lever in the intermediate position indicates what type of fault may have occurred:
- the circuit breaker lever in the intermediate position indicates a fault in which one of the circuit breaker's releases operated (an overload or short circuit may have occurred),
- the circuit breaker lever and the RCD lever both in the intermediate position indicate a fault in which the residual current release (trip coil) operated because the residual current limit was exceeded (30 mA or 100 mA, depending on the device's rated residual operating current).
