Description
Installation contactors are used for automatic control of electrical equipment in residential buildings, offices, shops and hospitals. They are particularly suitable for switching lighting, circulation pumps, air conditioning and similar equipment, and are also intended for switching single-phase and three-phase electric motors. They are notable for their quiet operation. The contactors can be mounted in distribution boards on 35 mm DIN rails (in accordance with EN 60 715).
IKD20, IKD25, IK40 and IK63 are DC-operated contactors with built-in overvoltage protection and a rectifier, so they can be controlled with either AC or DC voltage. The four-pole make (normally open) contacts can be used as main or auxiliary contacts.
IKA20, IK21 and IKA25 are AC-operated contactors. The special versions IKA/IKD 20/25-R have a manual operating mechanism (override function).
